Fighting Racial Prejudice, Anti-Semitism, and Hate

Brethren, we held a multicultural event - Fighting Racial Prejudice, Anti-Semitism, and Hate crimes in general in Manchester Cathedral in the afternoon.

Hopefully, those who attended enjoyed the music, speakers, and free buffet as we did and will join us again for the next one.

The event was attended by the assistant Lord Lieutenant, High Sheriff, the Assistant Grand Master, and other dignitaries. Quoting a believer and man who shared the same wisdom with the world as me and provided volunteering as I do to better it.

Jonathan Sacks stated in “The Power of Ideas," - ”The paradox of volunteering is that the more we give the more we are given." Removing ignorance and misunderstanding, and improving lives can lift others, we ourselves are lifted.

Happiness - the sense of a life well lived - is born in the blessings we bestow on others. Bringing hope to someone else’s life brings meaning to our own.

Brethren let’s not forget we all are part of the Greater community and we must show that the UK is a place where everyone is free to be themselves: where no one should face violence, abuse, or hatred just because of who they are, who they love, where they’re from, what they look like or what they believe.

Fraternally. Carl Montlake
